My Version Of Panic Buying

it was yesterday morning....
i was still at work...
as everyone does....
been thinking about indoor fun activities...
for my dear niece....
or at least around the front porch...
since we dont have much space for outdoor activities...

suddenly i was thinking with some ideas...
using printed materials...
and i just realized at that moment...
i was already run out of ink...
for more than a week now...

so the panic attack...
does the computer shop allow to operate during
this 18-31 March 2020 ?
a big ? in my head...
then i went out for lunch...
not buying the food...
but the ink...

new chapter...
and of course...
new challenge...

having some fried enoki...
for the first time....
normally i'll add them in soup...
as for today....
we are celebrating a bit...
so....deep fried it is...
taste good...
just like other mushrooms
do...

been discussing with neighbors on Saturday...

some were saying we need to apply for a new card...
to get this discounted rate...
some were saying, its automatically discounted....
and i only manage to try this morning...
(its Monday without the blue...)
with the current card that i have been using for years...
(actually had replace the card once...since the validity of the old card was 10 years only)...

it is much smaller, less material and way cheaper...

just wanna share...
about raw walnut...
i never eat a raw one...
dont even seen any...
before...

yesterday,
my sis-tah came over...
she bring along a bag of walnut...
said that its from a friend of her....
from Iraq....

looking at the hard shell...
its sort of reminded me of the cartoon...
Ice Age...
but the nut in the story was Acorn....

since we dont have any ...
nut cracker tool...
so i just use a pestle to crack them open...
its a nice experience...
and its taste as good too....

do we need to...
sort of roasted them first...
or just eat them raw?
anyone can help me out...

since its new year...
so Happy New Year 2020...
and i would like to share...
my new experience....

it was last week...
the fishmonger sold this Mentarang...
for RM 8 per kilo....
i'm not sure if its expensive or not...
never bought raw Mentarang before...

the last time i look for Mentarang...
was at Medan Ikan Bakar Kuala Perlis...
on 2013...

so after the mud cleaning process...
they look purely white....
some people cook it with it shell...
some people cook it without shell....

this time....
i tried without shell...
since i wanna get rid of the 2 'teeth'...
that looks like fangs and very similar to the shell...
and its 'bone'...
that similar to the cuttlefish and squid...
but cylindrical shape....

the shell are pretty fragile...
but sharp...
might give few minor cuts...
here and there....
wearing kitchen glove will do...
i guess...

anyone that has special tips...
please do comment down below....
so that no more tragedy in the kitchen....
